Item Maintenance Overview

Use the Item Maintenance Menu for all functions related to mass updates of items at once such as changing costs, updating scan codes,or inactivating dead items. Select the menu title to learn more about each option available.

Change BOM Component- Change Bill of Materials components on items.

Enter Market Cost- Set new market costs for multiple ingredients at once.

Import Brill Assembly Formulas- Imports a file from Brill containing the formula for one or more assembly items.

Import Item Attributes- Import a csv file to update many items at once.

Import Market Costs- A two column csv file can be used to update the market costs used to calculate manufactured feed prices

Import Vanguard Item Master- Import new Items from Vanguard into Merchant Ag.

Import Item Info- Update existing items, create new items, or add or updated items at specific Site

Import Vendor Info- Update existing items or create new items using a csv, comma delimited text, file.

Import Vendor UPC- Add UPC codes to existing items or import a vendor csv, comma delimited text, file.

Inactivate Dead Items- Inactivate Items with no On Hand quantity and no activity since a selected date.

Import Weighted Average Cost Changes- Update Weighted Average Cost changes for Items at multiple sites using a .csv file.
