Access Fuel Discounts

This option is available for customer specific Fuel Discounts for Managed Coops.

Apply Fuel Discounts for Pump Island and/or Fuel Delivery is now available in Oil & Energy for managed Coops only. Fuel Discounts are applied to Tier pricing before calculating any tax or surcharge. Fuel Discounts are not available when a Sales Contract is selected.

Grant Permission

Begin by granting access to the User Profiles by navigating to Merchant Ag FIN > Admin > System Security > Access User Profiles > Security tab > Accounts Receivable module > Fuel Discounts.

 

Create Fuel Discounts

Select the menu option Access Fuel Discounts found on the AR menu to create the Pump Island and Fuel Delivery Discounts to be applied to Customer accounts and Access Tanks.

Create a Fuel Discount for Pump Island or Fuel Delivery by clicking Add and supplying the following details.

  • ID- The ID is a system generated number when the Fuel Discount is saved.
  • Name- Enter the name of the Fuel Discount, up to 40 alpha-numeric characters.
  • Application- use the drop down menu and select Fuel Delivery or Pump Island.
  • Type- select either Amount per Gallon or Cost plus Amount
  • Amount- Enter the amount of the Discount.
  • Use the Items tab to select
  • The Items tab is only available to Pump Island Discounts. Click Add to choose the applicable Pump Island Items.

 

Apply Fuel Discounts using Access Customers and Access Tanks

Apply Pump Island Discounts

Apply a Pump Island Fuel Discount to a Customer account by navigating to the Customer account > Info > General > Fuel Discounts.

Select and enter the Fuel Discount ID or use F12 to search.

 

Apply Fuel Delivery Discounts

Add a Fuel Delivery Discount to a specific Tank using either Access Tanks or Access Customers.

 

If applying a Fuel Delivery Discount within the Tank, navigate to the Oil & Energy tab >Access Tanks > Tank Fuel Discounts. All Tanks associated with the Customer account are listed. Click into the Fuel Discount ID field and enter the ID or select F12 to search.

Selecting a Fuel Discount on a Tank will transfer the discount to the customer account. This process also occurs when selecting a Fuel Discount in a customer account, the Tank Fuel Discount field is populated.

 

Access Customer Service and all Tanks with an associated Fuel Discount will include the name of the Fuel Discount.
