Access Manufacturers

Create Manufacturers to add to Item detail and can be used to filter Items on Purchase Orders or on reports. Search for an existing Manufacturers by clicking Find or click Add to create a new Manufacturer.

Access

Grant permission to User Profiles in Access User Profiles > select a User Profile > Security > Setup > Access Manufacturers.

Click to create a new Manufacturer.

A unique system generated Manufacturer ID is assigned when a new manufacturer is created.

Enter the Manufacturer Name of up to 40 alpha-numeric characters.

Items populate automatically as the Manufacturer ID is added in Item detail and the grid displays

  • Item ID and Item Description
  • Status defaults to A for active. If an Item is set to Inactive or Delete it is removed from the list.
  • Category displays the Item Category assigned to the Item.

Add a AHN ID of up to 9 alpha-numeric characters in the field to maintain the cross reference needed for submitting EDI files. This is only needed for locations who are trading partners with AHN.

Items and Zones

Adding a Manufacturer ID to item detail will populate the Items tab and any Item with a Manufacturer will populate the Zones tab when an Item is added to a Pricing Zone.
