Merchant Ag allows for integration to Verifone Commander for convenience store merchandise and fuel transactions. This connection allows the manual import of sales and export of new items, promotions, and coupons to Verifone Commander.
Create the Integration
Once the Integration to Verifone Commander has been created in Setup > Access Interfaces, each location will add the System Settings for their location. This process may be handled during the implementation process.
On the System Settings tab, the Add button adds a line item and each location will define the Site ID, the IP Address/Hostname where Verifone Commander files will be imported from and exported to, along with the User Name and Password for the IP address.
The Integrations and System Level Look Ups define the types of data that can be received from an external system. System Level Look Ups will define fields that apply to all locations.
Import Sales Activity
On the Orders menu, select the new sub-menu Convenience Store to select Commander Import Sales File. This option will be used to import the sales file of transactions of fuel products and merchandise from convenience stores. When the import is complete, imported orders will be found in Access Closed Orders with Order IDs beginning with "C".
Correct Orders that Failed to Import
Orders that have been rejected due to error can be corrected using External Orders Failed to Process.
Select the Location ID and filter by Module by using the drop down list. Correct the issue that caused the transaction to fail during import identified by the fields highlighted in red and click Process.
Report on Convenience Store Activity
Use the Convenience Store Activity report to view the imported sales transaction. Any fuel transaction has been added to the Fuel Sales Activity report found in Orders > Fuel Sales.
Create a Summary or Detail version of the report for specified dates.
